Platte City Middle School's Project Lead the Way students in Mrs. Robertson's classes welcomed Alicia Dwyer Cianciolo, NASA aerospace engineer!

Alicia shared her journey to NASA as well as her team's journey to study and identify the technology investments necessary to land humans on Mars. Currently she is working to land people on the Moon with the Artemis Program as the Deorbit, Descent, and Landing Mission Segment Lead. Alicia lives in Lee's Summit, but works with NASA's Langley Research Center, based in Virginia.

Students in PCMS's Design & Modeling and Flight& Space classes shared their lander designs and asked Alicia great questions about her work and NASA's Mission.
