To say I am excited to teach your child this year would be an understatement! I love helping others learn and the smile on their face when they are successful is priceless.
I have spent more than half my life educating middle school students and have loved every minute of it! I began my career in Platte Co., as a long term sub and intramural coach, so it seemed right to end my career back in Platte Co! I did retire in 2018 from the Leavenworth School District. But, I found out very quickly, I missed it. I have been a paraprofessional and have taught a couple 6th grade Science classes at PCMS since 2019.
In my spare time, I work at the YMCA, cheer for the Royals, Chiefs, Pirates and especially the K-State Wildcats and enjoy spending time with my family.
I have 3 adult children (Pirate alumni) and have been married to my husband since 1992.
